Ode to Snow

Placing a pause on life, lying dormant we watch
the reveler of earths contours fall
Hushed tones with visions of renewal. we ‘re exposed
to purity,
Seemingly passive aggressive nature against life breaks
and shines as a tool of renewal.
Flocked trees threaten to destroy layered perfection.
The guardian of white rabbits,
amending the scars of farm work.
It stays with silent temperance.
